Our work Autistic young people Aspire Appeal 2026 Romsey Mill's Aspire team supports autistic children and young people across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough who struggle with school, anxiety, and social interaction. Many find mainstream environments overwhelming, placing pressure on families. This year, to help our work to create safe spaces for autistic children and young people, we are running a special fundraising appeal. We hope to raise £20,000 towards this vital work, between 16th March to the end of April 2026. We would love you to partner with us! Here is what Aspire has meant to one young person: “I have made friends at Aspire. I am less shy in public, and my social skills have improved… I feel like it is much easier to communicate with others now compared to when I started.” Many families feel isolated and unsure where to turn for reliable support. Aspire offers a safe space where young people feel understood and able to grow. Parents tell us the difference is significant. - 98% say their child feels safe and supported. - 94% report better wellbeing and mental health. - 85% see greater social confidence. Your support helps more young people access the specialist guidance they need to feel confident, connected, and hopeful about their future. Thank you.
